Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Nesta, an online marketplace operated by the operator of Nesta (not yet configured) that connects guests with hosts offering B&Bs, guest houses, lodges, and similar accommodation. By creating an account or using Nesta, you agree to these Terms.

What Nesta is and isn't

Nesta is a marketplace: it connects independent hosts with guests and facilitates bookings and payments between them. Nesta is not itself the accommodation provider, does not own or operate any listed property, and is not a party to the accommodation agreement formed between a host and a guest when a booking is confirmed.

Accounts

• You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
• Accounts may be suspended or an account's status changed if these Terms, the Community Guidelines, or applicable law are violated.
• You may deactivate your own account at any time from your profile settings. Deactivation disables sign-in immediately; booking, payment, and review records are retained rather than deleted, so the other party to any past booking still has an accurate record and any legal or accounting retention requirement is met.

Bookings and fees

Listing a property on Nesta is free. Nesta charges a flat platform fee of USD $1.00 per completed booking, added to the price the host sets. This fee is shown in full before you pay and is described in the same terms used at checkout — see Refunds for what happens to it if a booking is cancelled.

A booking becomes confirmed only once payment has been verified by Nesta's payment provider — informal arrangements made outside the booking flow are not protected by these Terms.

Location privacy

A property's exact address, coordinates, map marker, and access instructions are withheld from public listings and from guests until a booking for that property reaches both a confirmed payment status and a confirmed booking status. Only an approximate, randomized location is shown before that point.

Content and photos

Hosts must confirm they own or hold the rights to any photo or video they upload before it can be added to a listing — Nesta does not accept uploads without this confirmation. Reviews must reflect a genuine, completed stay.

Reporting and moderation

Listings, reviews, messages, and user profiles can be reported for review by our team using the report control shown next to that content. See our Community Guidelines for what is and isn't allowed.

Your data

See our Privacy Policy for what data we collect and why. You can download a copy of your own data at any time from your profile settings.

Disclaimers

Nesta does not verify the accuracy of every claim a host makes about a property beyond what our verification processes cover (see the Verified Host / ID Verified / Verified Listing badges, each reflecting a distinct, specific check). Nesta does not guarantee the condition, safety, or legality of any listed property.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Nesta's features change. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
